KPGW WEEK #9

KidsPlay GodsWay week #9  was postponed.  Looking forward to doing something special for week #10, since that will be the last time we meet this summer, due to school starting the following week.

KPGW WEEK #8

WEEK #8 KPGW  Well, we started by visiting the ducks at the 5th Street pond.  Then we went over to the building and spent some time making tee shirts and playing on the computer.  Talked about maybe going to CamelBeach before the summer is over.  Talked about KidsPlay GodsWay being about God first then play after.  That's about it for week 8.

KPGW WEEK #7

What a great day to go on a field trip.  I picked up two campers and away we went to Callie's Candy and Pretzel Factory.  We went to the Pretzel Factory first and got to see Pretzels being made.  Then we went to the Chocolate Factory and saw a short show on the history of Chocolate being made at Callies, including chocolate covered potato chips and chocolate covered twinkies!

Then we went to visit a friend of mine, Alice.  She took the campers on a Golf Cart tour of her wooded animal zoo.  The campers then played on the swings, in the tree house, and on the Zip Line.

Much fun had by all.  What a blessing.  Thank you God for a good day at KidsPlay GodsWay.

KPGW WEEK #6

Week #6 turned out to be done on the road at the home of the 2 campers.  I gave them each their own grade specific spelling tests.  And then we went over some Bible scriptures. When there was just a bit too much silliness going on I showed them how Ecclesiastes 3 talks about there being a time for everything, including laughter.  And explained to them how it is important to know the difference between learning time and laughter time :)

Then we reviewed their points for the day.  And also discussed their desire to go visit Callies Candy Kitchen and Pretzel Factory next week.

KPGW WEEK #5

Ok, so it was like 100 degrees out today.  I picked up 2 campers.  We prayed for our day, and for those who might be a little hot today, that God would help them.  During the car ride to the pool, we reviewed Naming All of The Ten Commandments.  Then we swam for 6 hours till they closed the pool.  Had dinner and then took the 2 kids back to the building for a little bit of Bible scripture review, and some game time on the computer.  Then took them home.  Thank God for allowing us to beat the heat today.  And for the two campers this week.

Getting ready to pick up 2 kids.  It's gonna be a hot one today.  The plan is to go swimming!
